Raymond Ortiz of Bridgeport, who was a family friend, made the plea Wednesday before Superior Court Judge Frank Iannotti.
Senior Assistant State's Attorney Tatiana Messina said she plans to recommend a five-year prison term when he is sentenced on Nov. 14.
According to Messina, Ortiz exposed himself to the girls during a family event in Bridgeport and touched them through their clothes.
On one occasion he sent a video of him masturbating to the girls through Facebook Messenger on the family iPad. The girl's father happened to have his iPhone synced with the iPad and checked the message and saw the lurid video sent to his daughters, Messina said.
When the father arrived home he asked the girls about the incident and they told him of the touching and the messages, she added.
Bridgeport Police were contacted by New York City police after the father reported the incidents and turned over a copy of the video. The two girls, aged 8 and 12, live in the Bronx.
